The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Veterinary Medicine Educational Institutions and Programs (VEDEK) is a non-governmental organization operating to contribute to the improvement of the quality of veterinary medicine education in Turkey by conducting accreditation, leading studies regarding evaluation and providing informative sessions for veterinary medicine educational institutions and programs.

Our association was established on 07.06.2010 within the scope of the "Regulation on Academic Evaluation and Quality Development in Higher Education Institutions" prepared by the Council of Higher Education based on Articles 7 and 65 of the "Higher Education Law No. 2547" and published in the Official Gazette dated 20.09.2005 and numbered 25942.

After the authorization application made by VEDEK, as a result of the evaluations carried out by the Higher Education Quality Board, the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Veterinary Medicine Educational Institutions and Programs was granted a "Quality Assessment Registration Certificate" for a period of time and on the condition that the activities are re-evaluated, and was authorized for conducting studies regarding accreditation.
